Welcome to D St! This cute two-story row house was built in the early 1900's and is situated on a quiet and neighborly street. This 3-bedroom 2-bathroom townhouse is located in Capital Hill between the NoMA/Gallaudet and Stadium Armory metro stops with public transportation widely available. In addition, grocery stores and pharmacies are located within 10-minute walking distance or less than 5-minute car ride. Nearby is H St with many restaurants, quaint coffee shops, and exciting night life. There is also an abundance of street parking outside of the house.
In addition, there is a porch on the front of the house and a balcony in the back. The main level of the house contains two living room spaces, a full kitchen, and full bath. The upstairs contains three bedrooms and another full bathroom. Living room and kitchen are fully furnished (couches, oven, microwave, refrigerator, etc.). Washing machine and dryer are located in the house shared with all tenants!
The bedrooms available are the master bedroom, available June 1st, with a queen size bed and two closets for storage and a private bathroom upstairs. And a second bedroom with a shared bathroom with the current tenant downstairs. The second bedroom, available July 1st, is the smallest of the three bedrooms in the house and will fit a twin (recommended) or full bed and dresser. There are 2 tenants who already live in the house, one who lives in the third upstairs bedroom. The other tenant rents the basement apartment, which is separate and private to this tenant.
The apartment currently has a cat but is open to other small animals such as other cats or hamsters. Rent is $800 a month for the second bedroom and $1200 a month for the master bedroom. Both rents include extermination services and alarm system. Tenants pay for utilities such as water, electricity, and gas which can range from $50-70 a month. The master bedroom is available beginning June 1st and the second bedroom is available July 1st!
