Room description
Hi,
I’m looking for someone to take over my portion of a lease for a house in the University District. I’m moving because I recently bought a house. I've lived with my roommate, David, for the past four and a half years. When I moved to Missoula I didn’t know anyone and met David on Craigslist, while looking for housing. We became fast friends, spending plenty of time floating the river, riding our bikes, hiking Missoula’s many trails and enjoying movies at the Roxy. David is in his early 30’s and just started grad school at UM. He keeps the house reasonably clean and is an all-around good dude. I’m hoping to find someone equally as awesome to take over my former room in the house.
The house is in the University District. It’s a short walk to Dairy Queen, Tagliare, El Diablo, Grizzly Grocery and a quick bike ride downtown. It has two bedrooms, and one shared bathroom. The bathroom has plenty of vanity space to accommodate two people. It also features a shower with a tub. The open bedroom is pretty spacious, about 12’x12’ with a closet. The kitchen has plenty of counter and cabinet space. The basement is shared with a single rental unit. Grace, who lives in the unit, is very sweet and I hardly notice she’s there. There is a shared storage space and a washer and dryer in the basement. You’ll have full access to the detached one-car garage with David. There is a workbench and shelves for storing outdoor gear.
Rent is $840/month with an $800 security deposit. Water and trash are included in rent. Electric and the Internet are split 50/50 with David. Both David and I love pets but unfortunately our lease doesn't allow them.
If you’re interested in the house and think you’d be a good fit with David, reach out with a little bit about yourself.
