Hi, we’re looking to rent out 1 room in our 2 story, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house to a financially responsible person. The house and bathrooms have been newly renovated with hardwood floors, kitchen appliances, counters, and cabinets. The (unfurnished) room for rent is 12’ by 12’, has closets, and has a sliding glass door that goes to a fenced-in backyard/patio area. We are located on the hill between Mission Blvd and CSUEB, 1.6 miles to the South Hayward BART station, and approximately 2.3 miles south of Downtown Hayward. Very reasonable walking/biking distance to many stores/shops/restaurants in the area.
CURRENT OCCUPANTS: We are a childfree couple (F32, M28) who work full-time and are often gone from the home on our off-days. One of us travels for work overseas most of the year, and the other has a typical 9 to 5 Schedule. There is another working professional (male, late 20’s) who stays in the other room on his work-nights only. On his off days, he commutes home to his family who live out of the area. This is a non-smoking household, however the responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted. The atmosphere of the home is overall chill. Everyone is respectful of eachother’s boundaries, and cleans up after themselves. Feel free to use the kitchen/front room/laundry/common space(s). Utilities ARE included in the rent. We don’t have cable but we do have internet, which is 250+ MBPS. Front room TV has Netflix and other apps.
IDEAL OCCUPANT: Mature student and/or working professional with a credit score of at least 680 (680 is a must). No pet(s) or kid(s) allowed. No section 8, smoking, (illegal) drugs, and/or illegal/shady activities. If interested, please let us know your ideal move-in date, and your typical schedule. In order for you to move in, we will need first and last month’s rent, plus an additional $500 for deposit ($2,500 total), and an up-to-date credit score verification. Rent would be month-to-month starting day of move-in OR pro-rated to the 1st of the next month.
